For many years, Nick Reed worked at TRL (Transport Research Laboratory) where he led many human factors studies and its work on automated vehicles, including the GATEway project in Greenwich and the creation of the UK Smart Mobility Living Lab. His background is in psychology and the understanding of driver behaviour and he holds a visiting professorship at the University of Surrey 5G Innovation Centre. His role at Bosch is around research to improve city mobility in cities with a focus on connectivity, data and automation.
