CoMoUK to share European city best practice on mobility hubs

mobility hub

CoMoUK, the organisation that promotes shared mobility, is putting together dual webinars to set out the next steps to introduce better mobility hubs in the UK.

Mobility hubs are a new tool for the redesign of street space, improving the public realm while making space for sustainable and shared modes.

The dual webinars, both being held on May 14 from 10am and 11:15am respectively, aim to build a network of those active or interested in the area, explore current best practice abroad and activity here in the UK, and find ways to collaborate.

The first webinar will focus on experience from overseas including examples from Bremen Germany, the Dutch province of Drenthe and Bergen, Norway.

The second will look at UK activity and hear from local authorities, the Royal Town Planning Institute and developers working in this area.

The session will cover lessons learned and next steps for UK policy, best practice, quality standards and monitoring.

CoMoUK is welcoming questions submitted in advance and these can be sent through to [email protected]

Registrations for the CoMoUK Mobility Hub webinars is free and you can sign up to Session 1 and Session 2 now.
