Stewart Lightbody

MICFM, Head of Fleet Services
Anglian Water Services
Stewart Lightbody has headed fleet services at Anglian Water Services since January 2014. The utility company operates a fleet comprising 700 company cars, 1,800 vans and 200 HGVs. Anglian Water Services provides the largest water and water recycling service in England and Wales by geographic area. This means Lightbody has a diverse fleet to manage as well as a number of constraints, which he didn’t have during his time in the private sector, working for franchised dealers, and running the Kier and Siemens fleets. Anglian Water Services has, what Lightbody calls, “an ambitious carbon reduction programme” with the introduction to the fleet of plug-in and fully electric vehicles being integral.
