Zenzic, the organisation dedicated to accelerating the self-driving revolution in the UK, is hosting a free webinar today (July 21) at 5pm that will look at the role of autonomous freight as part of the UK Connected and Automated Mobility Roadmap to 2030.
The webinar will feature a presentation from Mark Cracknell, Zenzic’s head of technology and a key contributer to the Roadmap, on how safety, simulation and cyber security will all be factors on the road to an autonomous freight future in the UK.
The event is being hosted in partnership with the UK's Department for International Trade.
Launched last year, the UK Connected and Automated Mobility Roadmap to 2030 sets out a vision for the UK towards a wide-scale deployment of connected and automated mobility (CAM).
It shows how different themes of activity must work together in an inter-related fashion to achieve the vision.
The product of over 150 organisations, the roadmap has been adopted by the UK’s Auto Council and is being used as a tool for future planning for the Government and its agencies.
