The collaboration will also mean Sono can expand into car sharing services.
The German-based start-up says it already has 16,000 reservations fo the Sion and will launch its first production models, which will be built in the former Saab factory in Sweden, in the first half of 2023.

Through solar panels integrated into its body, under ideal weather conditions, the Sion supplement its range with an additional 70 miles on average of range per week.
