Karhoo travel platform adds new partners to aid expansion

Karhoo, the aggregator of mobility solutions, has added four new partners to expand its exposure to millions of new travellers and aid its international expansion ambitions.

Karhoo connects local and existing taxi and private chauffeur fleets with travel brand clients.

The new partnerships are with Trip.com and its 300 million members, Fareportal, the travel company that operates CheapOair.com and OneTravel.com, accessible travel platform Mobee Travel and Lyko, the multi-model platform dedicated to airport transfers.

Karhoo works with three million drivers in more than 1,500 cities in 125 countries around the world.

Karhoo's mobility aggregation service has recently been made available on Booking.com and Hoppa.

Boris Pilichowski, co-CEO of Karhoo Group, said: "Karhoo's DNA is to integrate and digitalise existing mobility offers in order to give them technological access to new markets. 

“More than 3,000 fleets already trust us. In return, we value them and offer them access to a worldwide demand."

Karhoo's mission is to connect hundreds of companies and their millions of customers with millions of drivers around the world.

Karhoo operates in more than 100 towns and cities in the UK working with 500 different fleets.

Smart Transport Conference returned on June 8th & 9th, to facilitate pivotal discussions on the future of transport. 

The UK’s most senior public and private sector transport leaders discussed the impact of Covid-19, achieving the Government’s decarbonisation ambitions, the need for more efficient living and better health, and much more.

Keynote speakers included: 

Kwasi Kwarteng, secretary of state at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), who spoke on BEIS's approach to decarbonising transport, particularly the electrification of the vehicle industry

Keith Williams, co-author of the Williams-Shapps Plan for Rail, who spoke on rail’s role in integrated transport, decarbonisation and innovation.

Rachel Maclean, parliamentary under-secretary of state at the Department for Transport, who discussed the future of transport and its pivotal role in a ‘green recovery’ from the pandemic.
