Smart Transport member Geotab has appointed Christoph Ludewig as vice president OEM, Europe, with immediate effect.
Ludewig, previously Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services CEO, will help expand and leverage the fleet teletmatics and connected transport provider's relationships and business with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
He will also work closely with the company’s existing management team to help accelerate growth by supporting Geotab’s overall business development in Europe.
Within the last two years, Geotab has entered into partnerships with OEMs including Ford, General Motors and Mercedes-Benz. It is also recently developed a digital key platform that can make any vehicle with a key fob shareable.
In his new role, Ludewig will support the continuous development of customised OEM solutions.
