A flexible car subscription service, Mycardirect, which targets consumers and the corporate sector, has been launched.
Drivers can choose from a range of vehicles, including the latest electric and hybrid cars, and can select a subscription period that suits them, from one month through to 24 months, with launch offers starting at £329 (based on a Peugeot 208 Active PureTech 12-month subscription).
Included in the monthly subscription is home delivery and collection (mainland UK), servicing, maintenance and tyres, with an insurance option available.
Mycardirect will also be utilising the latest in-vehicle technology to provide pro-active servicing.
The vehicle can be delivered to the customer's door within 72 hours (subject to vehicle availability) and customers can experience a number of different vehicles, if they wish to.
The online service follows the launch of Sixt’s flexible car subscription service, Sixt+, and CEO Duncan Chumley, who has 24 years automotive experience, believes the sector will grow significantly over the next five years, both in fleet and retail.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated the trend for online purchasing and subscription based services so the launch of mycardirect is, we believe, very well timed.”
